It has been proven that writing down your thoughts, feelings and concerns can help and to have a journal like Meera Lee Patel’s ‘Create Your Own Calm’ is the perfect aid to taking the first steps to taking control of your anxiety. Brought for a friend who struggles with anxiety at times, found this after looking and looking and I am told I picked a good book here, they have found it helps gets them out of the anxiety mind set so might have to get one for myself now.I've just received this book today and it's perfect, I'm so excited to start using it I feel like I could complete it in a day 😂🤷‍♀️ it's much better then expected, unique, inspiring and so pretty. So far we’ve found it a real conversation starter helping both of us chat about our thoughts and feelings. So, to conclude, even though I didn’t get the chance to actually fill in the journal, I really liked the way it is designed.

This is another self help book that has positive inspiring quotes and little questions to make you think and reflect, I would recommend maybe doiI am still working through this book and will post full review once completed. Working through the prompts in this workbook can help to alleviate many sources of stress and anxiety, and give us the freedom to move forward with more clarity and joy in our daily lives.I felt torn that she seemed to be over generalizing anxiety in the introduction, so it sounded like typical anxiety everyone experiences, therefore minimizing the diagnosed illness, Anxiety. If you struggle with anxiety and would like to try out journaling to help manage it, this is for you.
