About this deal

The female robin moves a short distance from the summer nesting territory to a nearby area that is more suitable for winter feeding. I really enjoyed this one too and I think I'll stick with Harry for a while and catch up on his other adventures.

Redbreast" was a nickname given to one of the whiskeys by Gilbey's chairman at the time, who was an avid birdwatcher, in reference to Robin Redbreast.

Perhaps not entirely: Harry has an itch that something is "funny" about one of the killings that his superiors suppose is solved, and, in the classic manner, his doubts are fuelled when he is told by a senior officer that the case is closed. So, whether you’re a seasoned connoisseur or a curious novice, you’ll want to check out this Redbreast 12 year old review. Nocturnal singing can also occur, especially in urban areas that are artificially lit during the night.

Single Grain Irish Whiskey: This whiskey is made by a single distillery from a mash containing a single type of grain such as barley, wheat, corn or rye. Like many a literary detective, Harry is a lonely, haunted character, insubordinate and prone to melancholy. Evidence that some kind of assassination is being planned sends Harry in pursuit of the rifle's purchaser, and when it becomes clear that the murdered tramp once fought with the Nazis, he begins to suspect what we already know: that the plot is shaped by what happened in the war. As a single pot still Irish whiskey, this means that it’s made using a pot still rather than the column stills used to make most other whiskeys. Redbreast 15 is a rich, thick, sweet, pungent whiskey with loads of flavour and complexity - really good stuff!Overall, Redbreast 12 is a delicious and balanced Irish whiskey that would be perfect for any occasion.

A Cask Strength 12yo is also available, which is created using a slightly different profile to the regular 12yo (as opposed to the same whiskeys simply bottled at natural strength). Hole realizes he is wrong when he comes across the actual killer's journal, in which he attacks the Norwegian royal family and other government officials who fled to England during the occupation and who later labeled the collaborators as 'traitors' despite their resistance to the onslaught of the Soviet forces.

These whiskeys were aged at least six years in Gilbey's own sherry casks at its bonded warehouses on Dublin's Harcourt Street.

Robins sing from before sunrise and end soon after sunset, although some continue to sing into the night in well-lit urban areas. The blood from his wounds stained the robin's breast, and thereafter all robins carry the mark of Christ's blood upon them. Despite the controversy which surrounds both of these processes, this whiskey is impeccably clear, delivering a beautiful, rich colour that is equally inviting and enthralling. Blended Irish Whiskey: A blend of single malt whiskeys from various other distilleries which are combined together to achieve a controlled and balanced flavour profile. It is a convention of detective fiction that present violence has an explanation buried deep in the past – but in this novel you, as a reader, have visited that past before the detective begins to understand it.The robin found in the British Isles and much of western Europe, Erithacus rubecula melophilus, occurs as a vagrant in adjacent regions. If you’re looking for a tasty Irish whiskey that won’t break the bank, then we highly recommend giving this one a try. The genus Erithacus was introduced by French naturalist Georges Cuvier in 1800, giving the bird its current binomial name E. Redbreast is a single pot still Irish whiskey from Midleton distillery in Cork, matured in exclusively first-fill Sherry and bourbon casks.
