About this deal

Here the child is as far away as possible from the sides and thus best protected in case of an accident. There isn’t much to highlight that on the actual seat, though, as it is a plain black affair with some tasteful piping around the edges. The car seat has a 5-point harness with double shoulder adjustments, cushions to provide protection in the case of side impact, and removable cushions. I second what thisisyesterday says as we used to sell these seats and stop for the same reasons as halfords. Parents of younger children will want to consider the first point at which they use this seat, though, as it is forward facing only – nine months is quite young to have a child facing forward.

As the car seat has met all legal requirements and isn't faulty, any replacement will need to be done through the manufacturers. I can certainly appreciate your concerns especially as your child's health and safety is extremely important. I chose a Nania Trio Car Seat because it was inexpensive, comfortable, and met all the required safety requirements that it needed to fulfil. Because it is aimed at newborns, this seat can be fitted either forward or rearward facing, and it straps in with a three-point seat belt in either case. As with many, it comes with the basics – a five-point harness, an adjustable head support and padded sleeves on the harness to give some extra comfort on the child’s shoulders.A universal Isofix car seat can only be used in cars that are equipped with Isofix and a Top Tether attachment point. Their priority is making child safety on the road accessible for everyone, by offering the best value for money car seats. Trio car seat is a group 0-1-2 seat which is suitable from birth to 25kg and is used rearward and forward facing. There aren't any seats on the market any more that can be fitted with a lap belt, that's the problem. Recently I purchased a Nania Trio Car Seat for Thomas that he could use for short journeys, mostly when being dropped off or picked up from nursery.

it is quite hefty, so moving it in and out of a car regularly isn’t going to be as easy as other options. The Trio is a fixed seat that is designed to take infants through the first six years of their life, and is quite basic in its approach. after actually reading what the saftey standards are and what these seats have to pass i think the nania seat is fine.

All car seats sold at Asda are tested to the same EU standards that are in force across the retail industry and do meet all legal legislation. We got it for my daughter and it is not flimsy and fits very well and if anything is better than an old gracco seat that we had. Is it narrow because your DD has a thick winter coat on, because coats should not be used in car seats.
