Also,” he said, pausing by the door, breathless, “I have a train set arriving here today. Can someone take the delivery?” Unputdownable and gorgeous, I adored Snowed in for Christmas. It’s the ultimate feel-good festive novel’ Phillipa Ashley If anything I'm slightly annoyed with the way the book ends - not because it isn't the perfect ending - it is, I was just enjoying my time with these characters so much, that had it been left differently I would been convinced this would be the start of a new series from this author, who writes series featuring siblings so so well! But the ending is other than that is utter perfection. I’m doing fine, thanks.” Now she was the one putting on an act, but that was fine. The last thing he needed was to listen to her problems on top of everything else. “You’ve been working too hard. Maybe you should go home.”

The romances were many and all over the place. Not sure I bought them all, but there's so many characters in this book that they don't really get a chance to develop much of a depth. In fact, they all feel like the supporting cast to the actual main character - which is Christmas itself. This Christmas the Miller siblings have one goal - to avoid their family's well-meaning questions. Ross, Alice and Clemmie have secrets that they don't intend to share, and they are relying on each other to deflect attention. Snowed In for Christmas by Sarah Morgan is an emotional story of love and family. I loved this heartwarming story full of family drama.Sunday Times bestselling author Sarah Morgan writes romance and contemporary women's fiction and her trademark humour and warmth have gained her fans across the globe. She has sold over twenty-one million books worldwide.

What I got: Half a dozen female point of views. Lucy, both of Ross' sisters and his mother. No point of view for Ross, but it wasn't needed because this wasn't Lucy and Ross's holiday romance story. (Lucy and Ross don't even meet until 40 % into the damn book!) This is a holiday contemporary fiction story following 4 woman as they navigate personal drama. She was intimidated by gyms and she had no reason to wear sportswear. Her exercise regime involved racing round London meeting clients and influencers, and scoping out new cool places to include in their visual campaigns. But this is the one Christmas book I think perfect summarises any family Christmas. I mean for those of you that have the family together, we know siblings fight. There’s secrets kept from family members because of the pressure of their reactions. This book fully absorbs that these family tiffs are part of what makes Christmas interesting. And it helps if one of the best characters is a nosy Nan that deliberately interferes (in best interests of course)! Safety is fine for everyone. No virgins and no OP except for a mention of a girl Fergus dated 5 years ago, that turned out to be nothing.

Just give us the bad news, Arnie. Have you made a decision about who you’re going to let go?” Maya, always direct, was the one to voice what they were all wondering.

A train set?” Ryan, the intern, grinned. “He does know that a baby can’t play with a train set, doesn’t he?” Clemmie Miller, youngest of the Miller children, a child-care specialist with a big announcement she’s nervous to share. Her romance was one of unrequited love, one of my favorite tropes! Arnie was right. Whatever they came up with, had to be creative and the idea bubbling in her brain was certainly a little different.

It’s a Christmas campaign,” Arnie returned to the subject they’d been discussing before she’d interrupted. “Think festive sparkle, think Christmas trees, think snow. We want photographs of log fires, luxurious throws, candles, mugs of hot chocolate heaped with marshmallows. And fairy lights. Fairy lights everywhere. The images need to be so festive and appealing that people who think they hate Christmas suddenly fall in love with Christmas. Most of all they need to feel that their Christmas will not be complete unless they buy themselves and everyone they know, a—” Arnie looked blank. “What is the product called again?” There’s a fair amount of emotion running through this story, underpinned by what it means to be a family. Glenda, the mother of the family, assumes she knows her children very well – except she is completely unaware of all of their secrets. Furthermore, Clemmie, Alice and Ross hold a ‘sibling pow-wow’ in London before travelling home: to ensure that parts of their adult life remain private from their parents. As events unfold in Scotland, Glenda faces a tough lesson in understanding how her children have grown and what is means to be a parent to adults. I’m fine, honestly. I’m going to be busy with work.” She didn’t mention her conversation with Arnie. If the team knew how worried he was, they’d worry even more than they already were. What was the point of ruining everyone’s Christmas? It would be better for the team to return from their holidays well rested and optimistic. “I’m going to come up with a plan to get us in front of Ross Miller.”
