The only thing I got out of the book was the sexual attraction between the characters and not a legitimate emotional connection. In addition to all that, his relationship with his elder sibling began to deteriorate. These events left him feeling all alone and lost and hence he soon turned to fighting, alcohol, sex, and drugs to mask his pain. I enjoyed the simplicity of this story where it all starts from the hero publishing a clip of him and the heroine together. After the hero achieves what he wants by releasing the clip, I eye-rolled at the hero telling his friend to delete the original clip, as if people might not screen-record or in some way save the clip on their phone. He was always acting like he had something up his ass,while our fmc has only one personality trait.And i don’t want to judge her,but her point of view always had to be a monologue about how she’s a slut and she doesn’t mind it.

This book is a *very* dark romance and contains extreme trigger warnings which may be sensitive to some readers so when I say to read the trigger warnings at the beginning of the book if you are sensitive to any sort of heavy topic, I truly and deeply recommend it. I went into this book blind (without reading trigger warnings or reading what the book was about) because I love surprises and I do not have any problems reading any sort of topics but this may not be the case for everyone.

Like dominoes, everything started falling down around her. Her mother happens to be down with cancer which has kept her bedridden for months. If you have no triggers and want to go in blind, please skip to the prologue.)I had this book on my tbr since so long but i truly wish I would've kept it there for much longer. the book have a lot of toxicity , so less of a storyline and A MAJOR degradation kink which i found a little unbearable. The humiliation was just way too much and honestly there was nothing consensual here ; it just felt like some huge ass manipulative rape to me ; fmc could legit fool herself for all she want. I have read a lot of dark romance and nothing EVER grossed me out like this one did. He watched me. He went to this school. He ate a burger. He is ugly." - this is not a real quote from the book but this is how it felt. all those full stops, had me sounding like a robot whilst reading it in my head.
