About this deal

The mat sizes are limited, and I wish a larger size was available. While it works well for my children, adults or anyone who moves around the bed frequently during sleep may need to double up on pads or consider a different option, like a waterproof mattress protector. Some people may need the entire mattress covered, while others will only need to cover a portion.

PeapodMats® Washable Bed Pads | Bedwetting Mats | JOIZI

The absorbent and reliable nature of this bedwetting mat make it a necessary buy for anyone that wants to preserve their mattress and make clean-up easier. I also might use the same product during postpartum months after my next baby, when all types of fluids are fair game, from leaking breast milk to baby spit up. Anything that enables my kids to participate is a win for everyone. They can even throw it right in the washing machine and move to the dryer, as it is able to be washed in your typical fashion like other sheets and clothes. The Peapod Mat is versatile—for all the dogs and people in the house

Quick to Change

If you are looking to make your life significantly easier caring for a bedwetter, this product is a game changer. So I’m looking to get some bed wetting mats in the hope that I won’t need to do a full sheet change every time. Does anyone have any recommendations for reusable ones, I’d rather not be adding more to landfill. I keep getting adverts for PeaPod mats which look great but are very expensive (I’ll need at least two to keep up with the washing!) The weight is another excellent feature. For any kid over age of four, the mat is easy for them to carry around, giving them more independence and involvement in problem-solving. The Peapod Mat is the first waterproof pad for bedwetters that I've tried with my kids that actually stays put. So many others tend to slide around at night. But the Peapod Mat stays in the same spot despite any thrashing, rolling, and turning from my kids, who sometimes end up upside down during the night with their feet on the pillows. The Peapod Mat stays in place, offering me peace of mind. I’ve tried switching from nappies (he still fits comfortably into size 7 nappies) to the dry nites pyjama pants in case they have greater capacity, but it’s made no difference. We have been lifting him for a wee when we go to bed, but although it helps with the nappy not being quite so full in the morning, it hasn’t helped with the leaks. It seems he must just wriggle around a lot at night.

It might be worth mentioning too that lifting children for a wee isn't generally recommended. It saves the sheets, but also just teaches them to wee while they are asleep and doesn't help the bladder learn to hold for longer periods of time.No strapping, snapping, or zipping is required to hold it in place, making it easy to put on and take off. The mat is the lightweight My DS is almost 5 and also still in pull-ups at night so I feel the frustration of the wet sheets when the nappies don't hold up and know how convenient lifting feels when you know it will mean the sheets stay dry!
