One of our favorite superhots is the yellow/orange variant of the 7 pot primo (pictured above). These pods are not quite as hot as the red 7 pot primo, but they have a delicious, citrus-like flavor and plenty of heat for us! The pepper tested an average of over 2.6 million Scovilles, more than 1 million more than the reaper. However, Pepper X has been nothing but controversial since this announcement.

The Dragon's Breath chili pepper is claimed to be one of the hottest chili peppers in the world with a reported 2.48 million Scoville heat units.The chili pepper originated in the United Kingdom, developed collaboratively by chili farmer Neal Price, Nottingham Trent University and NPK Technology. If you are a glutton for punishment or just like a challenge, by now you are thinking you’ve got to try growing Carolina Reaper. The pepper is no harder to grow than any other pepper plant, but it needs an extremely long growing season and, in most cases, must be started inside well before planting out.While there is some variation in appearance, the chocolate bhutlah is a rich brown color when ripe and usually has a conical shape. The plant we grew produced fairly smooth pods that measured around 2.5″ long and 1″ wide.
