About this deal

Due to the death of Diana, Princess of Wales in the early hours of 31 August 1997, the edition of Fully Booked recorded for broadcast that morning was postponed, ultimately airing as part of the CBBC morning schedule on BBC Two on 2 September at 7:30am. Star Wars creator George Lucas had long been interested in animation, and had wanted to tell Star Wars stories in an animated form. [2] During production of The Star Wars Holiday Special in 1978, director David Acomba showed Lucas a recent film made by Canada-based animation company Nelvana. This convinced Lucas to hire the company to produce the animated segment for that film. Lucas was pleased with their work, and in 1984, he again hired them to work on the two animated series he was developing, Droids and Ewoks. These two subjects were chosen because they would appeal to young audiences and because, as the future of the film franchise was uncertain, they would be the least likely characters to conflict with the stories of the feature films. [6] With these two shows, Lucas (who served as executive producer) hoped to raise the standards for Saturday morning animation; he wanted the animation and voice acting to be better than the average animated series of the time. [7] Mallenroh and Morag live in the Hollows within the Wilderun; Mallenroh controls the west, Morag the east. Their domain surrounds the mountain Spire's Reach, location of Safehold and the fountain of the Bloodfire, the destination that Wil Ohmsford and Amberle Elessedil are seeking. Although their magic is immensely powerful they have no power outside the Hollows, in the manner of the King of the Silver River, indicating that their magic is an earth magic tied to the land and perhaps to the Bloodfire itself. Invisibility soap, made to protect the Ewoks' sunberry trees, is stolen by the Duloks! Plot summary [ ]

Interview with Paul Ens by Tambone, Lou on www.starwarz.com ( February 27, 2004) (archived from the original on January 20, 2008) Mallenroh is a minor character in The Shannara Chronicles, based on the character of the same name in The Elfstones of Shannara. She was a guardian of the Bloodfire along with her sister Morag. The show gained a reputation for allowing alternative bands to perform alongside the mainstream pop acts, and booked groups including Electrasy, Shed Seven, Catatonia, The Dandys and St. Etienne to appear during this era. After the series finished production, Nelvana sent the majority of pre-production materials to Lucasfilm, who later partnered with the former company Royal Animated Art to sell these materials to private owners. Some were bought by a California business, [9] and some were later given out as part of the Hyperspace fan club. [20] In 2010, StarWars.com celebrated the 25th anniversary of both Droids and Ewoks by featuring a series of articles about the collectibles available from each series. [21] The 2013 one-shot comic Star Wars: Ewoks—Shadows of Endor was designed to tie together all the various aspects of Ewok lore. [22] Home video [ ] She, The Kitty, & Carol Linnaeus are the only three The Loud House villains to try and kill members of the Loud family, as The Kitty tried to murder Lincoln and Clyde, Dr. Linnaeus tried to murder Lisa and Flip, and Morag tried to murder the whole loud family.

Mallenroh is a minor character in The Elfstones of Shannara. She and her identical sister Morag are the Witch Sisters, the last surviving members of their coven. Morag was born on the Forest Moon of Endor more than two centuries before the Battle of Yavin. [1] Like most Tulgah, Morag had a preoccupation with the pursuit of magic, attempting to increase her own powers. However, unlike others of her species, who used their knowledge to become great healers, Morag twisted her powers for evil, [3] hoping to conquer the forest moon. Using her dark arts, Morag enslaved many creatures to her will. Among her servants was an enormous winged creature, known as a mantigrue, who did her bidding. [4] Morag and her pets resided in a precariously located fortress on the peak of Mount Thunderstone, a dormant volcano. Morag's lair and the surrounding area were protected by Yuzzum guards, who rode rakazzak beasts across the devastated wasteland. [1]

Mallenroh and Morag recognize Amberle as the bearer of the Ellcrys' seed, and they try to stop Amberle from entering the Bloodfire. However, they are stopped by Wil, who kills them both easily using the Elfstones. When she meets the travelers, Mallenroh turns Hebel and his dog Drifter into wooden figures and takes the Elfstones from Wil. When Wil points out that the Elfstones only work for those with Elven blood, Mallenroh claims to be of a race older than even the Elves, from the time of Faerie, and that as such the blood of all the Races runs in her veins. She imprisons Wil and Eretria in the cell where she is keeping Amberle. Everything You Always Wanted to Know about the Nightsisters but Were Afraid to Ask" — Star Wars Insider 122 Despite her cruel nature, she does genuinely loves her ancestor Aggie, as she looked up to her, and was horrified when her portrait was ruined. I've always been interested in animation. And, again, it's a chance to experiment with ideas and new people and Star Wars characters. The Star Wars world is much easier to deal with in animation. You can be much more flexible in development of ideas. I've put off doing it for years because I didn't have the time." ―George Lucas, in Starlog #100 [5]

The show was still hosted by Kate Heavenor, but Chris Jarvis and Tim Vincent were not involved, and were replaced by Vernon Kay (previously a presenter on digital channel UK Play) and former Boyzone member Keith Duffy. Morag serves as a dark counterpart to Lincoln; representing what Lincoln would've become if he let his desire for peace and quiet, being in the spotlight, and any resentment he may feel toward his family for their behavior define him. Well done, my old friend. Help save your people again, you did. Soon it'll be just you and I, Logray, and then it'll be just I!» ―Morag [1]Morag first appears when she gets out of the bathtub to get dressed, as she welcomes the Loud Family to Loch Loud Castle. After just a few days of interacting with the Louds, she's driven to the point of shouting out her hate on a far away cliff and digging up her ancestor's journal to learn her methods of controlling the family dragon Lela. When a special occasion was going on, she brainwashed Lela the dragon into causing trouble and usurped Lincoln. Afterwards, when the Louds were preparing to leave, she fed Lela trash to grow it into a full adult, and brainwashed it again in preparation to make her ascension to the throne indisputable. Sleep well, my pet. You have a big day ahead of you. One the Ewoks will not soon forget!» ―Morag [4] An Animated Discussion with Brian Lemay by Kuppe, Maureen on www.rebelscum.com (archived from the original on January 17, 2020)

Star Wars': How 'Ewoks' and 'Droids' Arrived on Saturday Morning TV by Alter, Ethan on www.yahoo.com ( December 18, 2015) (archived from the original on September 26, 2020) Morag is from Gaelic mór, "tall." Dougall is from the Gaelic Dubhgall, or "dark stranger," and "Mac" is "son of." I am very sorry to disappoint you,” replied Morag quite seriously. “I am afraid I simply don’t have a dark side.” Mallenroh and Morag are guardians of the Bloodfire in Safehold; in The Elfstones of Shannara they are the Witch Sisters, the last of their coven, and living in the Hollows, a region in the Wilderun where Safehold is found.

Without giving this any thought at all, Morag blurted out, “I am better than my parents, and I am probably better than you!” In the end credits, it was revealed that Morag was rescued from the island by Angus with the ghostly Loud ancestors holding her strictly as the new groundskeeper as punishment for her crimes against the Loud Family and the people of Loch Loud, with Lela keeping a close watch over her, much to her frustration. It is highly likely Morag will spend the rest of her life as a servant to Angus and the Loud ancestors, and will never get a chance at revenge on Lincoln and his family or have peace and quiet again. The series received its first home video release in 1990 when J2 Communications released The Star Wars Trilogy Animated Collection. The collection consisted of three VHS tapes; one tape contained one episode, while the other two tapes contained two episodes each—with one of those repeating the episode from the single-episode tape. Each tape began with a Star Wars Animated Classics trailer promoting the "Special Double Length Edition" volumes. However, for the single volume tapes, the white box covers were shown, but differing content was advertised. CBS/Fox Video also released the complete series on Region 2 VHS in the UK. [9] [17] Topaz agreed that they must find her dark side, but secretly hoped that she and Morag would be re-united.Morag wasn’t Morag without her dark side. So, after lunch, Morag went for her first lesson of the afternoon. When she got to the classroom she discovered her dark side was already there, busy preparing spells! Morag’s dark side had already prepared a “turning a nose into an elephant’s trunk” spell and a “Running skin into dragons’ scales” spell and was just finishing off a “turning your teacher into stone” spell! Not many people have heard of her and she was most likely forgotten in the star wars universe, as most of the expanded universe (excluding the prequel and original trilogies and the Clone Wars show and movie) were rebranded as Star Wars Legends by Disney.
