About this deal

Well that didn’t work out well! Printer paper just isn’t heavy enough to absorb and hold that amount of water. Notebook paper is generally between 80-90gsm (grams per square metre) making it adequate for taking notes or for creating booklets etc. Higher quality writing paper is generally 90gsm and above. Paper weights go as low as 40gsm for tracing paper and the optimum for most laser printers is 80gsm general-purpose printing paper. General users don’t worry about GSM limitations as they mostly print standard documents using the 80gsm reams of paper, which is recommended. Although if you make heavy washes you may still need to stretch your paper and mask it down. 140lb of paper doesn’t really need stretching, but some masking tape will suffice. Anything less, requires stretching.
