About this deal

But I persevered and it did have a good end and as the name of the says “No One Saw it Coming” , they sure didn’t.

I don't mean that in a negative way :)) I thought it wrapped up to a satisfying conclusion and would definitely read more by this talented storyteller. It kept me very entertained and I whizzed through it so it gets a good rating, but would I recommend it? The plot line I guessed relatively quickly and I think this was part of the frustration with the slow pace.

Part 1 was a bit slow moving for me, but there was a nice zinger at the end to get me intrigued for part 2. The pacing is steady and everything builds to an exciting conclusion in this tale of family relationships.

With realistic, well-constructed, though not necessarily likeable characters this is another winner from the pen of Susan Lewis. He was, at heart, a despicable man and yet I have little difficulty imagining how terrible his loss must be for Hanna.
