About this deal

Whilst we make every effort to ensure that the product information on our site is accurate, this information will occasionally change. The front of the nappy is clearly labelled with the size (5) and the resealable tabs are brilliant for ensuring you get a good snug fit when trying to change a very wriggly toddler like Bert. I don't know why it does this but I just try and change him before he "needs " changing to help eliminate this happening too often, bit harder at night time or car journeys though.

The nappies go quite high up at the back which minimises the risk of an explosive poop travelling up there. The downside is they leak through very easily and are not a great fit, they leave a gap at the back where you can see straight down into the nappy. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. And with so many saying they love them, the nappies have been awarded the Netmums Recommended badge. I like that they are packed tightly into the outer packaging, meaning there is little excess plastic packaging, which is better for the environment. The new Mamia Ultra Dry Air System™ nappies have a specially designed core that locks away wetness quickly and distributes liquid evenly to help prevent sagging for added comfort. It features a cute and unisex animal design with the front and back of the nappy easily identified by the drawing of the animal.

I'm used to the odd leak here and there, even with our usual nappy brand, so the Aldi Mamia range seem to stack up pretty well! We started off with Aldi size 2s and were really impressed with them, so got size 3s when the time came. Not really had a problem with these nappies until now my son is 9 months old 5 months corrected and I change his nappy regular but it seems to be making his clothes damp after a while, even if it’s over night his baby grow is still a bit damp by the morning other than that not had a problem with them no major leaks defiantly worth the money. Personally I'm not a lover of these nappies, which for me is a shame, as I love aldi products and use every other aldi baby product. They are of excellent quality for their low cost, and otherwise are exactly the same as other disposable nappies on the market in terms of their ease of use etc, even those which cost much more. This is standard across all Mamia nappies, giving you leak-free peace of mind even when your baby goes up a nappy size. My baby also seems to not have an issue with them either and have not experienced any nappy rashes whilst using these.

I have also used all the other sizes for my eldest as this was the only brand that didn't leave her with a rash! The inclusion of any links does not necessarily imply a recommendation or endorse the views expressed within them. For newborn nappies each gush is 30mL, for infant nappies it's 40mL, for crawler nappies it's 50mL, for toddler nappies it's 55mL, for walker nappies it's 60mL and for junior nappies it's 65mL. With 2 young children and being on maternity leave, the cost of things is obviously very important to me, but I would be foolish to pay more for other brands when this one performs just as well as them, if not better than some.

The aldi leaked wee a couple of times but nothing major and definitely not often, literally just a couple of times out of the whole few months she was in that size :) they had a slightly bigger sizing then the morrisons, when my DD grew out of morrisons size 3 she still had room in the aldi for a good few weeks. I am looking forward to see what the next sizes up are like but can only imagine they will be just as good.

I had heard a lot about the mamia nappies and thought I'd give them a try and I can honestly say I've never looked back. Tried loads of nappys in size 3 but the only ones he doesn't leak through is tesco loves baby ultra dry! I don't think she's even hit the 'minimum' weight for size 4 yet, and she's been in them for over a month!
