About this deal

In this set, she comes with an extra hair piece, so she can can have either red or lavender coloured hair. For parts fans, this set includes a new broom mold that appears in several of the Summer 2022 Harry Potter sets, which is much more accurate to the on-screen brooms the characters use; it’s also arguably simply better scaled for a minifigure. This 3-level building is bursting with amazing adventures and spectacular scenes from the Harry Potter films. The sets contain nearly equal quantities of Minifigures, with the Ministry having just one more than Grimmauld in the form of the monochrome wizard statue. There is ample room for minifigures though and I think some compromises are acceptable for such an exceptional function.

Sirius Black's home comes to life with an impressive 11 inch tall multi-level set that has nine mini-figures! There's Slytherin's locket (the object of the trio's infiltration), a bumblebee in Arthur's brief case for some reason, and a Time Turner in Thicknesse's briefcase.

But this house is also under the protection of the Fidelius Charm, which means wizards can’t see it either! As such, LEGO 12 Grimmauld Place is an excellent option to consider but maybe one not to get carried away with particularly if you are looking for short term profits. It is best remembered for how it first appeared, popping up out of nowhere as terraced properties 11 and 13 Grimmauld Place shifted sideways, much to the obliviousness of the muggle neighbours inside. So, whether you’re reliving your favourite moments from the books and movies or just enjoy building blocks, it’s safe to say that LEGO Harry Potter sets are a magical addition to any collection. The good news is though even the theme and sub-theme growth are estimated at 9% and 7% respectively, making it a very steadily increasing investment.

In fact, the popularity of LEGO Harry Potter sets has grown exponentially since the release of the first one in 2001. Displaying the model in this configuration does create an issue though because the steps no longer cover the whole frontage. The designer did well to include so many details in such a small area especially the two dummy buildings. But they look fine overall – and while they are not as rare as they used to be, it is still nice getting new versions of Fred and George.Contact Us LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Minifigure, and the Brick and Knob configurations are trademarks of the LEGO Group of Companies.

As most Harry Potter sets have focused on the earlier more kids friendly movies, we have never seen 12 Grimmauld Place as a LEGO set.I think a traditional dark orange colour may have been more appropriate than this vibrant colour though and my figure exhibits a printing issue around the eyes, which is hopefully isolated.
