About this deal

Love this album and my pressing is decent, but the cardboard box set it came with was crappy and came unglued. The fourth track "Body Electric" was distinguished by Jesse Cataldo of Slant Magazine for its string instrumentation, which he described as a "pre-established atmospheric skeletion" given the frequency of their usage on the disc. In Oceania, it reached number 17 on the Australian ARIA Charts, [35] and was acknowledged with a platinum certification in the country. Del Rey's third album, Ultraviolence (2014), featured greater use of guitar-driven instrumentation and debuted atop the U.

Born To Die" follows Lana's first single "Video Games" which began its life online in July accompanied by a video created by Lana. Born To Die" the album is a collection of tracks about which Lana says "The songs I've written are an homage to true love and a tribute to living life on the wild side. The same issue, although less severe, is actually present on side B, where to my ears Gods And Monsters and Yayo are mastered at somewhat lower level than Blue Velvet (which feels the same as tracks A1-A3), and Bel Air is mastered even lower again. A limited edition box set of the project was released on December 4, 2012; it contained the physical version of the record, an eight-track remix disc, a six-music video DVD, four printed photographs, and a two-track vinyl record with remixes of " Blue Velvet". I don't see what the confusion is aside from the two releases sharing a barcode but there are two seperate listings on discogs.

This is a vinyl record made by an artist Lana Del Rey which is titled Born to Die (The Paradise Edition). It's like seven new songs that kind of put a period on the statement that I was making when I was making the record. Includes the singles ‘Blue Velvet’ and ‘Ride’, and comes with a limited slipcase to hold the Born To Die album itself. In July, Del Rey expressed her intentions release an expanded version of Born to Die subtitled The Paradise Edition, which was initially expected to contain seven newly recorded tracks to supplement the original record. Thus, the drop in RMS audio level from Cola to Body Electric is seen also in rips from CD, see for instance here: https://dr. There was no other protective material (like paper or bubblewrap) around the record though, which could further improve the protection. After The Paradise Edition was released, " Dark Paradise" was serviced as the sixth single from Born to Die on March 1, 2013, [24] [25] and reached the lower ends of select European singles charts. Although a specific charting position was not released, The Paradise Edition was certified gold by the Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique in France. The project also reached number six on the Official New Zealand Music Chart, [37] where it was eventually certified platinum. Top positions in the charts worldwide, countless reports, awards, TV appearances, concerts, festivals and all the wonderful covers and cover stories: Lana Del Rey already deserves the title "Artist of the Year"! The second disc commences with the track " Ride", which Tom Breihan from Stereogum described as a "string-drenched ballad" that saw Del Rey exploring the "crossover-soul-pop" musical styles that British singer Adele is commonly associated with. Disc Version Vinyl discs are released in many editions and variations, such as standard edition, re-issue, demonstration (demo), not for sale, promotional (promo), special edition, limited edition, and many other editions and versions.A remix of the track " Summertime Sadness" from Born to Die, produced by Cedric Gervais, was released independently from either project on July 11, 2013; it was later included on select reissues of The Paradise Edition after experiencing success on record charts worldwide. Vedo nelle recensioni molto confusione e se leggi questa recensione devi essere consapevole che comprando questo articolo avrai paradise e la custodia che contiene paradise e born to die ma quest’ultimo non compreso nel pacco.

This limited edition LP sleeve contains an additional slipcase for your copy of the Born To Die LP plus the eight-track Paradise EP. Del Rey released her second studio album and major-label debut Born to Die in January 2012 by Interscope Records, Polydor Records, and Stranger Records. Del Rey unveiled its cover in September, in which she is photographed in a beige-colored one-piece swimsuit standing before a tropical background, and elaborated that the reissue would contain the fifteen-track deluxe version of Born to Die and nine previously unreleased songs.

That said, I've had collectors purchase this package for its bonus tracks and, to be fair, that's what's unique about this release. Additionally, Del Rey published the poetry and photography collection Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass (2020). Her music is noted for its cinematic quality and exploration of tragic romance, glamour, and melancholia, with frequent references to contemporary pop culture and 1950s–1960s Americana. Her ninth studio album, “Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd” was released on all platforms March 24th 2023. It's dead quiet and has literally zero pops right out of the bag after only a cleaning with a normal carbon brush.
