About this deal

I was surprised that people compare it to elixir which is loved by many, so I had to get a sample of elixir. More than once I've questioned if the bottle I have contains the same juice as what others here discuss. Reading/watching the reviews I wasn’t expecting it to be a fresh bluesy scent, but it does open very fresh, clean, lavender and inky for the first 2-3 hours to my nose.

So yes, it's strong the first couple of hours with that ashy note then after about the 4th hour has a warm vanilla note that sits close to the skin similar to elixir's nutmeg note. I know macerate is the hot word lately but no amount of waiting can fix that awful overpowering smell of incense. A modern old school type masculine fragrance, the first spray can smell too spicy and off putting but as time develops gives almost a “clean” vibe of fragrance. I know guys we all need to believe that we can find a dupe on Elixir and save our money but sadly as many I've tried so far, not even one can resemble that alluring and dark vibe of Elixir that magnetizes literally everyone. Definitely see the similarities to Sauvage Elixir (I tested them side by side), but I feel like this tones done the intense spices and licorice of Elixir and freshens up the DNA a bit.ALCOHOL DENAT, PARFUM (FRAGRANCE), WATER (AQUA), CARBOXALDEHYDE, LIMONENE, BENZYL SALICYLATE, HEXYL CINNAMAL, ALPHA-ISOMETHYL IONONE, LINALOOL, COUMARIN, CITRONELLOL, CITRAL. Give it a try, I think you''ll be very pleasantly surprised at how rich and elegant this scent is and how much you'll like it. The real magic lies in the bottle itself – a sleek black design with a sophisticated rose gold finish that screams elegance. Performance: The projection of Asad is impressive – it makes its presence known without being overwhelming.

The biggest changes I smell, is the more prominent Vanilla note (which I actually think is a great addition here (vanilla is not noted in sauvage elixir notes). Owning both Asad and Dior Sauvage Elixir I do see the similarities, but honestly I would say that Asad is more of an "inspired by" rather then a clone, it lacks the complexity and richness that Elixir possesses.Eau de Parfum, 100 ml It is available as 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum in a dark bottle of the original design.

I know this isn't a popular opinion but I think a lot of people here are just trying to justify or defend their more expensive DSE. If you’re on a budget, or just don’t see value in spending 100s of dollars to smell good, Asad is an amazing option, non-fragheads won’t be able to tell the difference, the vibe and concept of both is the same.winter and fall… I’m saving it for the winter time so I can’t say anything about longevity, but I put it through Test and it’s definitely long lasting. I don't have much experience with picking up individual notes or accords as some but this fragrance really surprised me at how smooth and creamy it is upon drydown.
