Aged in gently charred ex-bourbon American oak barrels, the Midleton Very Rare 2023 Vintage Release captivates with its sumptuous flavours and aromas. They were hard cardboard boxes lined with a beautiful golden fabric, while each bottle was 750ml topped by an old-style screw cap.

Taste : Mouth-coating sweetness of vanilla, cinnamon and clove, enriched with a hint of green apple and unripe banana. Storing wine like this can increase the chances of label damage, for example when moving bottles or high humidity causing dampness. The palate is creamy, with flavours of orange, apricot, camomile tea, floral spice, and charred oak, leading to a finish of oak tannins and antique grain whiskey.
