About this deal

With its sleek body and brilliant performance, we wouldn’t be surprised if you thought the Kaweco Sport was a sports car. Sage green has been a very popular trend colour for some time, so we're delighted to see Smooth Sage added to the Kaweco Collection. Measuring 10 cm when closed, it becomes a 13 cm standard-sized pen on opening, hence the slogan: ‘small in the pocket, large in the hand’ (ahem).

The Sport is an excellent starter pen, but if you’re a long-time enthusiast who has somehow evaded Kaweco Sports for this long, it’s time to try one. Although best known for the Sport series of pens, Kaweco produces a wide range of quality writing instruments to suit all tastes and requirements, all made in Germany.QUALITY SINCE 1883 I Our products are hand-assembled and individually inspected in Nuremberg, the city renowned for its pencils. Established in 1883 by founders Luce and Ensslen, the Heidelberger Federhalterfabrik (dip pen factory) began manufacturing dip pens. As with all Kaweco Sports, you will struggle to use the Bronze Sport without posting the cap, well for more than quick notes anyhow.

Um 1550 wurde zum ersten Mal mit Messing gegossen, woraus sich eine Vielzahl von Anwendungsmöglichkeiten ergab. They can be mixed and matched as a duo of writing implements and held together in an attractive leather pouch, just as they were traditionally advertised back in the day. Whether in the classic 8-sided format or simply round, pencil, ballpoint pen or one of many different nibs - every hand will find the right tool.

cm when closed, but when the cap is mounted on top of the barrel they become a 13 cm-long, standard-sized pen, hence the slogan: "small in the pocket, large in the hand". The lack of a pen clasp is a definite advantage here, as there's nothing to interfere with shifting the pen into your favoured grip. The Sport range still forms the backbone of Kaweco's product range today, and now extends from translucent plastic to solid aluminium versions; and from fountain pens to clutch pencils via ballpoint, rollerball and ink roller versions.

The Kaweco Classic Sport Fountain Pen, designed in 1911 and scarcely altered since, entirely deserves its worldwide following. If this is incorrect or you require the item to be delivered to an UK address, VAT will be added at checkout. Bronze is a perfect material for writing instruments, due to its wear resistance and antibacterial properties. Als perfekte Ergänzung zum Schreibgerät gibt es passende Ersatzminen, elf farbenfrohe Tinten sowie Clips zum Aufschieben in Gold, Bronze, Silber und Schwarz.Originally Classic Sport pens were made from ebonite (a very hard rubber), in black and then burgundy, featuring a fine engraved pattern known as a guilloche. On the coast of Toyama district– the namesake for this new and unique Kaweco COLLECTION variant – the water is illuminated by a mysterious blue sheen during Spring. Check out our in depth look at Kaweco the Brand in our latest blog - learn about Kaweco's historical roots, its decline, resurrection, and journey to becoming a cult icon in the pen world. The Kaweco Sport was first designed in 1911 as a pocket fountain pen which could be carried everywhere.

Originally established in 1899 in Heidelberg (also home of Lamy), the company was eventually renamed Kaweco as its owners namesake, Henrich Koch and Rudolph Weber - KOch, WEber and COmpany. This solid brass model is the heaviest of all Kaweco tools, making it an ideal option for those who enjoy a heavily weighted fountain pen. Kaweco ink is available in: Midnight Blue, Royal Blue, Paradise Blue, Caramel Brown, Glowing Yellow, Smoke Grey, Palm Green, Sun Orange, Summer Purple, Ruby Red, Pearl Black. While the cap may back weigh the pen, the nature of the design means the rear of the barrel will rest on the crook of your hand, so the balance point is not really an issue, just the weight if you like light pens. Kaweco was founded in 1883 as the Heidelberger Federhalterfabrik (Heidelberg dip pen factory) with the Kaweco name being first used in 1889.A high-quality feel, tangible quality and timelessly beautiful look - all this is at the end of our creation. Here it is just a feel of a little friction, giving confidence this pen will not slip in your hands. The grip itself is smooth plastic, but the cap threading provides a bit of extra grip to keep it from slipping between fingers. Durch das hohe Gewicht des Modells drückt das Schreibgerät bereits von allein leicht auf das Papier. Choosing Keeping holds the largest range of Kaweco pens in the UK - indeed we have built a long-lasting friendship with the beloved Gutberlet family who run the company with so much brains and gusto.
