About this deal

I was looking at the MR600 but a review says it's incapable to connect to the three 4g+ network, so wary of limitations it may have. s, but obviously this kind of download speed is going to depend upon your choice of 4G mobile network, distance to 4G basestation, 4G network congestion and 4G throttling by the networks (of course UK 4G mobile providers don’t throttle their mobile broadband service we are told!

The WLAN range was also convincing in the test, a large apartment or a small family home can be supplied without additional repeaters. Pročitao sam na forumu da su dostupne novije verzije firmvera za moj b818-263 (c1217) usmjerivač bez marke i nadogradio sam firmver učitavanjem verzije 11. Even if I had a B618 I wouldn't feel confident, as the video was essentially useless at imparting the relevant information. he Huawei B818 is an LTE CAT19 wireless 4G router, which provides users with flexible and diversified data access and voice services. These offer a very good reception in the LTE network, especially in comparison with many smartphones. But for me, someone who just needs to plug it in, get assigned an IP, and who wants the quickest speed then the Huawei is perfect.

The Huawei 4G WiFi router is unlocked – works without any problems with any network with a maximum download speed of up to 1600 Mbit/s, and sending up to 150 Mbit/s. After yesterdays IP change I was able to setup up a ping monitor, you can see my automated speed tests. Will need to do some reading up on LTE bands and get to grips with what works best, and how much location inside the property effects the speeds.

OPTUS are so far being fawkward (delib) not helping, and Huawei referred me to Optus, I don't suppose you can assist please with where i can find a firmware upgrade for the B818-263(Base link to site as opposed to direct link for router should be satisfactory providing it is on the site under expected router name).

the firmware on the B618 (SIX 18), so I'm guessing the B818 will be similar, but apparently firmwares are very hard to find for the B818. For those who prefer to have it in MHz: 700, 800, 900, 1500, 1800, 2100 and 2600 MHz are supported for FDD-LTE, 2600 and 3500 MHz for TDD-LTE. One of these LAN ports can also be used as a WAN connection, so that one does not necessarily have to rely on the wireless modem integrated in the router. Huawei B818 is now only available for Vodafone Contract, if you need the unlocked unit, you have to wait for more time.Only later did I read this message on a forum (sorry it's in italian) and I imagined that the problem was not having loaded the new webui 11. And incase anyone is wondering, no I didn't do a custom or unofficial to cause this, I am a great advocate of leave bought devices alone on an if its my device basis(don't want to speak for others on this, a lot of people I wholeheartedly expect are cleverer than the firmware makers, if they aren't, well life could be simpler there too if we knew they arent), anyway I didn't as I know if I dont, it should lessen problems later[should!
