About this deal

Major gothic vibes but not church like perhaps the lily gives it a more funeral home similarity it's a mature scent after all but it's a dark sexy type. Based on the notes, I should adore this and it could easily be my signature scent, but I just can't seem to figure this one out. It's something like Hypnotic Poison but without the almond and coconut, or Kenzo Amour with a little more depth.

I don't normally like lilies as they are usually too cold and mournful for my taste, but I really like the way the flower is handled here. With this the user can measure the advertising ROI as well as track Flash, video, and social networking sites and applications. Super sexy and mysterious, very prominent note of orchid, saffron and vanilla, the opening smells like verbena.I wanted to really give it time and observe how I react to it on different days and in different weather. Most heavy perfumes I feel like are usually broken my making them sweet or warm but this perfume for me is neutral and sharp if I can say that, I don’t reall know how to describe it. Like an angler fish at a distance there is a sweet little soft glow, a little citrus, mostly lilly, but up close the woods and vanillia jump up for a big sultry smokey bite. On first spraying, LGR is more citrus and not as sweet as AoD - to be honest, LGR smells cheaper and rougher - but they are heading in the same direction, running in parallel lines; as they dry down, they converge. When I initially smelled the nozzle, I was a bit turned off, but decided to try it on my skin anyway.

It begins with a piercing cacophony of notes that quickly seems to quiet down into a scent that is both warm and frigid at the same time. I blind bought this perfume partly because of the notes but mainly because of the wonderful reviews here. It smells amazing and quite alluring from the bottle but hits my skin with a metallic vanilla and then dries down cold and slightly unnerving on my skin. The vanilla lends some much needed lighthearted sweetness, while the saffron grounds the blend in earthiness. lol They Just Can't Help But Ooogle After You, As This Mysterious Sexy Aroma Hit's Them Fully Between The Eyes, As You Waft Pass!

I would say that this is probably my all time favourite perfume and it would easily be my signature if I did not have to keep reapplying ever 30 minutes or so! I normally dislike reformulations - and this one has most definitely had one - but this time, I'm ok with it. The somehow aquatic/transparent vanilla and tonka come through as soon as the fragrance settles into my skin and stay for the next 3-4 hours.

Sillage of AoD is slightly more than that of LGR and it also has - for want of a better word - more "depth"; it's "stronger".There’s definitely some hints at saffron and Oakmoss, and in addition to the most prominent note, vanilla, I do also detect Lily. The opening has a bitter medicinal smell, like orange cough syrup, but then it settles into the above. For me, it generally presents as a sharp, white floral which is undercut by vanilla - a vanilla which feels almost cold, rather than warm and spicy.
