My only concern is long-tern tenability because Missoni is known for canning their perfumes without much warning if they don't sell. Unlike Dior Sauvage, it will not offend anyone but unless the longevity is far longer than the Chanels,(I will soon find out) it will stay in their shadows til it will sink into oblivion. This can be worn to school classrooms, job interviews, office meetings, church, hospital visits, gyms and daytime casual dates.

Ive given Versace Pour Homme many tries based on the positive reviews it gets, but the Hyacinth note in that one was always too much for me. I blind bought this fragrance and it is really nice however it is really synthetic, which is fair because it's like 40 dollars. for 50ml, well still expensive compared to pre-hype rates but nevermind) and I feel I expected too much. I don’t own Chanel allure sport or Versace signature but I have smelt them enough times to know wave tends to lean more so with allure sport.yes it does remind you of BDC but trust me it is different, it’s more sharper and fruity and a bit cloying if oversprayed, 3 or 4 sprays is enough, good longevity and projection, strong enough for winter and fresh enough for summer, it’s nothing to brag about but it’s good enough for any collection. My nose picks up orange's juice scent and sweet at the same time, the female colleague at my office always asking me if she could have a sample on her husband because she loved it. Minutes later it becomes more aromatic, with some floral, semi-sweet notes, until it reaches a drying phase where a little vanilla is slightly perceived, but it remains aromatic. It's not unpleasant but I sold a decade old bottle of VPH because it was linear from start to finish to this aquatic slightly mandarin scent.

It smells cheap and kind of like something a teenager would wear or you'd throw on for the gym instead of spraying some Adidas body spray onto yourself. I really tried to be a fan boy of BdC EDP but for whatever reason, all the Chanel flankers don't live long on my skin.The bottle and magnetic cap give the presentation an expensive feel to it, reminds me of a rum keg off a pirate ship. My longevity was maybe 6-7 hours but I wore this on a hot day so it may have even better longevity in a cooler environment.

The creamy fresh drydown is just something else, something that makes you want to smell it again and again. If anything, it reminds me a bit of John Varvatos vintage, but both share patchouli, jasmine, lavender and aspects of wood and oak. The citrusy side subsides pretty quickly while the aromatic side of it rises - a rather soapy lavander with a pungent note which may be well a very strong concentration of ginger coming through.With the forward citrus component, I understand why it's getting compared to Bleu de Chanel, but this is not a blue fragrance and it's not that versatile.
