With that said, I received the bottle 4 days ago and upon opening I am greeted with a very harsh scent that could be cloying to those who actually smelled BDCEDP. In Bleu de Chanel EDP, you can feel the smooth transition of the fresh opening to the woody dry down with the spicy warmth of the masculine heart. Performance wise and given the fact that this is more of a summer fragrance, I believe Blue Iconic does a good job in terms of longevity, projection, and sillage. The bottom line is, if you are expecting Bleu de Chanel Eau de Parfum, this is not your best option. Carefully created and inspired by a fusion of the most appreciated fragrances by great Artists, it reveals an enthralling olfactory journey that leaves an unforgettable impression on anyone who passes by.

Sadly, you cannot find the same depth in Blue Iconic, which resembles the original Bleu de Chanel EDT more so than the EDP. Seems like some people spray clones on their wrists then literally sink their nose into their skin looking for differences (people smelling it in the air are not going to be doing all that so stop taking a smell do damn serious. Considering the amount of BDC EDP I have worn over the years, I've got pretty noseblind to the scent, so this is really impressive. I'd say that all the fresher Club de Nuit fragrances have this issue, which is why I sold Sillage and Milestone.It's a lovely smell, performance not great, bottle in my opinion childish, wait for it to be cheaper or changed. The beginning is sharp on this doesn't start smelling good until the dry down, where you get some of the woods and some ginger and florals coming it smells good not super impressive.

The winding path starts with a burst of citrus freshness and mild spice, a sunny warmth pouring its glow over spice shrubs that line the towering woods. I have tried the BDC EDT before and even though there is a slight inspiration of it, I find the Armaf Iconic too intense and pungent for my nose. So if you’re looking for a masculine scent that isn’t going to overwhelm you with musk notes and leather notes, Club de Nuit Blue Iconic is just the thing for you!What good is the original having better quality ingredients if it still can't match the performance of a cheaper clone? I feel like these reviews must be of a different fragrance; my experience with the performance was quite underwhelming. This is strictly for the Invicta (a la Rolex) watch wearer, the "replica" Jordans of course and fake gold chain wearer.
