The spicy declaration DNA is being hugged with this airy rose that doesn’t engulf it like say Lyric man by Amouage but let’s it dance, take a break, dance some more. Just as in other art forms, it is in the proximity to debacle, rather than treading the safe path, that the genius lies.I definitely get the pepper, the cardamom, and the sandalwood in this one, but none of the notes are harsh in any way---they are creamy and make this a good year-round fragrance. Although its performance could be better, it is unique, and blends masterfully rose with spices and sandalwood creating a masculine and very professional fragrance.

This is a thorny, green, self-assuming rose that blooms against the pepper and caraway of the opening. I prefer Creed Viking for something rosy but this is definitely worthy of consideration for someone looking for a masculine rose. It has been discontinued for a long time, but I don't regret it, it's a very classy perfume, but it doesn't have a solid base. I get a fresh spicy rose in the opening while the drydown I get sandalwood and pepper but rose is dominant in this one.Whether I am so delighted with it because it binds me to some beautiful memories I made wearing this scent, or because of the quality of the scent itself, I do not know, but the quality certainly stands.

don't listen to 'this is disaster' and 'poutpuri' reviews, unless u prefer to smell fisherman or workman after full day work sweating through and using 'cover up' perfume. This decreases in the first half hour slowly until it becomes sharper afterwards by the Muskat still a pinch, but at the same time also somewhat more sweetly. I am not referring to that versatility that suggests any environment or occasion, but that which manages to elude the hours of the clock and can be well worn both in the day and at night.That one is more peppery and woody but is similar especially in the dry down, where the rose comes in.
