About this deal

New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging .

Since the MX Anywhere 2 drops the AA compatibility and sports a built-in battery, it has to have built-in battery charging. It's true that most of these surfaces would work with a normal laser mouse, but it's good to have peace of mind for the occasional awkward tray table, countertop, or dreaded glass table. The compact and powerful MX Anywhere 2 works everywhere you do and on virtually any surface—even glass. Most people would throw the product right away, but as a tinkerer I rarely throw anything away before I attempt to figure out what is wrong and how to fix it. Compact, sculpted shapeCompact enough to take with you anywhere, this wireless mobile mouse is designed to help you make things happen anywhere — at home, at work, or on the go.Following 2009's Logitech Anywhere MX mouse, The MX Anywhere 2 has since been followed up by the MX Anywhere 2S and MX Anywhere 3. Other than those changes, this is definitely an evolutionary upgrade over the original Anywhere Mouse MX.

Since the new MX 2 is instead equipped with a non-replaceble li-ion battery that on paper will last 2 months when fully charge, the charging capability has become mandatory. You can connect to Windows® and Mac via our smallest-ever Pico Unifying™ receiver (included) or via Bluetooth® low energy wireless technology. I've played games on my computer for as long as I can remember, which eventually (as it does for many) led me to building and upgrading my own desktop. When used on a normal surface, such as wood or cloth, there is plenty of texture to go on, and one laser is used to light up the surface for the sensor. The basic shape and button location has not changed, and it keeps the excellent Logitech scroll wheel which allows you to switch between a traditional stepped scrolling or an almost frictionless HyperScroll which lets you blast through spreadsheets or web pages with one flick of the finger.

NOTE: The information below is provided for your convenience only, accuracy of specifications cannot be guaranteed. As small as the receiver is, it does of course stick out of the side of the port, where as Bluetooth does not. As anticipated from past experience with the brand, a Logitech product is well made, easy to use and effortlessly functional. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag.Tapping the profile switch button once, the mouse disengage on Y510p, and in a mere second available on the Note 8.

I was able to successfully dismantle the mouse and offending micro-switch, and bend the internal spring mechanism to get it working normal again. But I’m fairly sure I will lose the whereabouts of the Pico receiver after a few trips abroad and back – because it is so tiny and there’s no safe place to put it! But as far as mobile mice go, it's a worthy successor to the original MX Anywhere, which was powered by two AA batteries and didn't look or feel quite as swanky as this mouse, but had similar features. That exact time will vary depending on usage but that's the ballpark you can expect, and if you remember to plug it in even occasionally, you'll run out of juice infrequently—possibly never. That being said, I feel that the quality of the plastic used in old M905 is a bit better than the new one, but only time will tell. Also, it has the right amount of buttons I like: The usual three and then two on the side for quick back/forth or whichever button you choose to bind there.
