Mine came with a set of wading boots, those silly clunky big things went straight on to fleabay the next day. Thing is i’ll very rarely use them for fishing, mainly for working in the river which I was doing when I damaged the new ones which in all honesty what I was doing would have damaged any decent waders. Naturally the test of any low cost product is whether it stands the test of time, I can get nearly 10 pairs of Bisons for the cost of the Simms, will the Simms last ten times as long ? For the surf I currently favour a 6mm surfers wet suit which gives me options and a higher level of safety when fishing bars and flats. Any breathables used in salt water benefit from a good rinse down in freshwater before they dry out - salt crystallising can cause major issues.
